The number of applications involving chlorinated water (such as swimming pools) is increasing, and so is the demand for a high-quality fitting. That's why we have expanded our range with stainless steel adapter pieces in the most common sizes: 32, 40, 50 and 63 mm. Note that these are made of high-quality stainless steel type AISI 316.
Why AISI 316?
Many stainless steels are sensitive to chlorine. Pitting corrosion is the corrosion that causes pits to form on the surface. Stainless steels such as 316 are more resistant to chlorine and have better resistance to pitting corrosion. (Source: Wikipedia)
